The real love affair began in Cairns but that’s a censored story. Juliette is my wife, the love of my life and with her Italian and French heritage together we had a dream of bringing artisan gelato, traditional pastries and speciality coffee to Townsville.

To begin our dream we set out to discover fellow gelato makers and passionate baristas throughout Australia. We are constantly learning from gelato masters, coffee roasters and barista specialists from all over the world. 

We established Juliette’s original cafe in 2007 located on the picturesque Strand and corner of Gregory Street. Since then, Juliette’s has become a meeting place for locals and visitors to relax and enjoy an escape on this beach side location. It is the perfect place to come to prepare for the day ahead, recuperate after a long day, get together with friends or recover after that morning cycle or workout. 

What began as a dream has now spread across three Townsville locations. At Juliette’s we are very proud of our artisan products. Our gelato, sweets and pastries are made on site with recipes that are continually evolving and our coffee beans have the perfect blend, are locally roasted and sourced ethically.
